Description
Valve clearances on Royal Enfield 650 TWIN engines were originally defined in inches (intake 0.003″ and exhaust 0.007″), therefore when converted to millimeters, non-standard values (intake 0.08mm and exhaust 0.18mm) are obtained – for this reason it is advisable to use these special gauges to check/set valve clearances.
The gauges are, of course, all-metal and have 32 sheets from 0,04mm to 0,88mm (they contain, among other things, just the 0,08mm and 0,18mm values).
